* PreK bake sale is Wednesday and Thursday! (treats and raffle tickets for 25 cents)

* Please send $4 for Scholastic News. We are still missing some.

* Please help your children be successful students. Please help them remember their all of their homework and any books that need to come to school. (Each night we have spelling, ELA and Math.) Sometimes having a morning routine or a nightly routine is helpful.

Most of you have already sent everything you need in, but just in case you need a reference list, I am posting it here so it is easy to find.

Supply List for the fall of 2013

Dear Parents,

Included in this letter is a list of supplies your child will need for second grade with Mrs. Blansett. 

Second Grade Supplies 

a package of 20 or more number 2 pencils with erasers 

2 large pink erasers

2 box of 24 Crayons 

4 glue sticks

paper towels

1 roll masking or scotch tape

one pair of children’s scissors

1 box of Ziploc sandwich size bags

4 expo markers

2 spiral notebooks or composition books

1 box of facial tissues 

6 folders with pockets - please label with your child’s name (these are used to help keep your child organized)

1 1/2 inch three ring binder; goes to school and back home on a daily basis- please label with your child’s name

2 folders with pockets and holes; for use in the 3 ring binder- please label with your child’s name

1 soft sided pencil case; please label with your child’s name

old shirt to be used for art smock- please label with your child’s name

P.S. Please have the following extra supplies at home for homework:
