Our math test on centimeters and meters will be Tuesday next week, not Monday. We need an extra day to practice.

October book report checklist and rubric


I will check this when I get to school tomorrow. There are a couple of things that I may have to adjust. This should be very close to the one you have at home. 

October book report checklist and rubric
This explains how this month’s book report will be graded. It also gives you a checklist to see if you have completed each part. Please be sure that the majority of the work is done by the student with only a little help from someone else.

Summary needs to have at least 6 sentences. Be sure to write the beginning, middle and end. Make sure you state the problem, and how it was solved. (This should be included in your description of the beginning, middle and end.) Please be neat, pay attention to spelling and grammar, and reread what you have written to make sure it is complete. You may attach another sheet of paper if you run out of room.

Special Activity outside of school

Miss Monica from Salina Free Library came to visit us today. She read us some fun stories. She also mentioned an activity going on at Sumner Head Start, 215 Bassett St.
